The Breadfruit is a native of tropical Asia Pacific.
This fruit grows to an average 2-3Kg in weight has a green smooth skin becoming pale yellow when ripe.
It is treated as a vegetable can be thinly sliced and deep fried looking like crisps, these can be seasoned to be sweet or spicey or a mix ;with salt, chilli powder, sugarpalm syrup etc. The flesh is used in curry dishes after being parboiled
